Catering Sales Tenacity


Jump StartIt’s easy to get discouraged when it comes to selling. I have found myself really struggling in the past. When I find myself in “that place” I do, what I call a “Jump Start”. I’ll break it down in three steps:

Step 1: Evaluate what actions I’ve been taking that aren’t producing sales and feel like a waste of time.

Step 2: Eliminate those activities and start to brain storm other sales strategies or approaches that may help me get some traction.

Step 3: Give my new ideas a try! Schedule the new activity in my calendar and see what happens.

This simple approach helps get me excited and recharges my batteries! Don’t get me wrong, the ideas don’t always work but it’s about having strength of will and not giving up. Tenacity has helped me through many transition periods I’ve had in different organizations. Don’t give up! To use an old cliche…Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
